Re : 2007 Wakefest & HK National Wakeboard Championships 
　
Dear Members & Friends,

We are pleased to announce that the ever popular Wakefest event for this year 
(Wakefest 2007) will be held on July 1-2 at the Tai Po Waterfront Park.   

July 1 , 2007 is a very special occassion as it marks the 10th Anniversary (1997-
2007) of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.  
Wakefest 2007 is much honoured to be a government recognized event for the10th 
Anniversary Celebration.    And for the first time, we are also incorporating 
the 2007 Hong Kong National Wakeboard Championships in this event to identify 
new talents for the Hong Kong national team.  

Local winners in Intermediate and higher categories, besides being crowned as 
HK national champion of that category would also be elected to the Hong 
Kong national wakeboard team.  As a member of the Hong Kong national team, 
one would have a chance to be nominated to represent Hong Kong in overseas 
tournaments and also be able to participate in HKWSA organized national squad training 
and development programs. 

We look forward to seeing your active participation in this important event
