Donation for Disaster Relief

Dear Members and Friends,

Since the outbreak of the earthquake in Sichuan, China a lot of people including members of HKWSA had already responded with donations directly to various relief and humanitarian organizations. Though HKWSA was eager to support the donation campaign through our appeal to members and friends, we were advised that such campaign must be pre-registered with the Social Welfare Department and certain public announcement and audit process must be observed. Rather than wasting our resources on such procedures, we are now urging those with the heart to contribute to make their donations directly to the charity and relief organizations of their choices.

We hope you will continue to support the post disaster relief and rebuilding effort through financial contribution and other means. Thank you.
