Prize Money for Quiksilver Wakefest 2008
 
Dear Members & Friends,
 
We are pleased to announce the prize money allocation for the Quiksilver Wakefest 2008 event:
 
Men's Open Champion - HK$5,000, First Runner-up - HK$3,000, Second Runner-Up - HK$ 2,000
Women's Open Champion - HK$3,000, First Runner-up - HK$2,000, Second Runner-up - HK$1,000
 
A cash prize of HK$3,000 would also be awarded to the winner of the Team Award. Please refer to the Team Award entry form on the HKWSA web site and enter your team as soon as possible.
 
Also, winners of the Hong Kong National Championships in the Open, Outlaw, Advanced and Intermediate categories would be eligible for selection to the Hong Kong Team for the Wakfest event in Singapore on July 19-20, 2008. 
 
If you have not yet sent in your entry form for the event please hurry up before the deadline.
