IWSF WWC Level 3 Wakeboard Judge Training (& Refresher) Announcement

Dear Members & Friends,

In order to upkeep the quality of judging, only qualified wakeboard judges

would be assigned to boat judging duty in wakeboard tournaments organized

by HKWSA. Tournament officials and riders are encouraged to go through the

judge training and acquire the certification to improve their knowledge.

To prepare for our tournament events in 2007 we are organizing a wakeboard

judge training course for the interested parties. All current certified

judges are also recommended to attend the second day (March 28) of the

training as a refresher. (A new judge certificate will be issued to the

refresher attendees.)

Details of the training are as follow:

Date: Mar. 27-28, 2006 (Tuesday & Wednesday )

Time: 7:30 - 10:00 pm

Place: Class Room at Sea Dynamics, Flat D, 3/F. Sun Hey Building, 68-76 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong

Instructor: Rocky Lok

Medium of instruction: Chinese

Tuition: $800 (For New Judge), $200 ( For Refresher session)

To qualify for the IWSF World Wakeboard Council (WWC) Assistant Judge

(National Level 3) certification the following requirements must be fullfilled:

o Be a current HKWSA member

o Meet the class attendance requirement

o Pass the final examination & evaluation

o Obtain 4 days of practical experience by serving as trainee judge and

other official duty in tournaments organized by HKWSA in the next 24

months after the training course.

tuition payment arrangement.
