IOC Executive Board meeting in Durban - Cable Wakeboarding Shortlisted for 2020 Olympic Games
 

Dear Members & Friends,

We have just been informed that IOC's Executive Board has recently made a decision regarding adding new sports to the 2020 Olympic Games.

I am pleased to inform you that Wakeboard is one of the eight shortlisted sports (together with Baseball, Karate, Roller Sport, Softball, Sport Climbing, Squash and Wushu) for the 2020 Olympic Games, one of which could be added to the 2010 sports program to be voted on by the IOC in Buenos Aires in 2013.

This is a big step forward in getting our sport in the Olympic Games and we hope for the best.
